Lingua is published by Yongguang Fan, an individual developer ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and why.
Your translation history, vocabulary list, saved recordings and imported videos are stored only on your device. Text recognition in photos, and speech recognition and translation for languages your device supports offline, run on the device.
When a feature needs cloud processing, the content is sent through our server (located in the United States) to one of the service providers below. Our server passes the content through and does not store it.
These providers process the content under their own terms. Some of them may keep submitted data for a period of time or use it to improve their services. For example, we have opted out of our speech recognition provider's model training program, so your speech is not used to train its models. If you would like to know which specific providers process your data, contact us.
If you rate a session, report a problem or send feedback in the app, we receive what you write and the options you pick, together with the install ID, app version, system version, device model and interface language. An email address is included only if you type one in. Recordings and conversation text are included only if you tick the box to attach them for that report — they are never attached by default. We use feedback only to fix problems and improve Lingua, and read it ourselves; it is not shared with the service providers above.
Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We receive transaction information from Apple (product, purchase and expiry dates, transaction identifiers, and the install ID the app attaches) to activate and renew your plan and to handle refunds.
Depending on the feature, data is processed in the United States, mainland China, Singapore and Germany. These countries may not offer the same level of data protection as the country you live in.
Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device. You can ask us to access or delete the records on our server; because we have no accounts, tell us roughly when you used the app and on which device so we can find them. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may also have the right to object, restrict processing, and complain to a data protection authority.
Lingua is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

如果你在 App 里给某次使用打分、报告问题或发送反馈，我们会收到你写的内容和所选的选项，以及安装 ID、App 版本、系统版本、设备型号和界面语言。只有你自己填写了邮箱，才会附带邮箱。录音和对话文字只有在你为这一次反馈勾选附带时才会发送，默认从不附带。反馈只用于修复问题和改进 Lingua，由我们本人阅读，不会提供给上述服务商。
支付完全由 Apple 处理，我们看不到你的支付信息。我们会从 Apple 收到交易信息（商品、购买与到期日期、交易编号，以及 App 附带的安装 ID），用于开通、续期套餐和处理退款。
视所用功能，数据会在美国、中国大陆、新加坡和德国处理。这些国家或地区的数据保护水平可能与你所在地不同。
删除 App 即可清除设备上的数据。你可以要求查阅或删除我们服务器上的记录；由于没有账号，请告诉我们你大致在什么时间、用哪台设备使用过，以便找到对应记录。视你所在地区的法律（例如欧盟《通用数据保护条例》），你还可能有权反对或限制处理，并向数据保护机构投诉。
Lingua 不面向 13 岁以下儿童（欧洲经济区为 16 岁以下），我们也不会有意收集他们的数据。
数据处理方式发生变化时，我们会更新本页并修改顶部的日期。
